Flight Cents™ FAQs
Flight CentsTM allows you to round up purchases to the nearest dollar to get additional AAdvantage® miles. Participation in Flight CentsTM is optional.
In order to participate in Flight CentsTM, you must set your threshold to the maximum amount you'd like to round up each statement period. You can set your threshold to any dollar amount from $1 to $500. Once you've set your threshold, you will get a 1 AAdvantage® mile for every 2 cents that is rounded up to the nearest whole dollar for each purchase. At the end of each statement period, you will be charged the Flight CentsTM Amount (the total amount rounded up) and this will appear as a purchase on your statement. The miles you acquire through Flight CentsTM each statement period will then be added to your AAdvantage® account.
At the end of each statement period, you will be charged the Flight CentsTM Amount (the total amount rounded up) and this will appear as a purchase on your statement. At this time, if the total miles acquired through Flight CentsTM is not a whole number, it will be rounded up to the nearest whole mile. For example, if your total AAdvantage® miles acquired through Flight CentsTM is 2,450.5, you will receive 2,451 AAdvantage® miles.
In order to participate in Flight CentsTM, you must set the maximum amount (threshold) you'd like to round up each statement period to any dollar amount from $1 to $500 at AviatorMastercard.com/FlightCents. If you do not wish to participate in Flight CentsTM, you can change your threshold, at any time, to the default of $0. The current threshold as of 11:59pm ET on the end of the day before your billing cycle will be used as the threshold for your next billing cycle.
The total amount rounded up through Flight CentsTM is considered a purchase and will be subject to interest charges should you not pay your bill in full.
At the end of each statement period, you will get a 1 AAdvantage® mile for every 2 cents rounded up, up to the maximum amount you set.
No. The miles you get from Flight CentsTM are AAdvantage® miles just like the AAdvantage® miles you earn through your purchases.
Yes. You can adjust the maximum amount rounded up each statement period at any time. The amount as of 11:59pm ET on the end of the day before your billing cycle will be used as the maximum amount for your next statement period.
You can adjust your maximum amount (threshold) online at any time. Simply log in to AviatorMastercard.com/FlightCents. The maximum amount you can round up each statement period is $500.
Regardless of the occurrence of fraud, returns or the resolution of disputed purchases, we will round up all purchases that post to your account up to your maximum amount (threshold).
If there is inadequate credit line to include the full Flight CentsTM round up amount each statement period, we will include the amount available up to your credit line. In the event there is no credit line available, we will not include any Flight CentsTM round up amount for that billing cycle. In either case, all or a portion of the Flight CentsTM Amount for that billing cycle will be forfeited.

Yes. Flight CentsTM rounds up all purchases made by you and/or any authorized user of the account up to your maximum amount (threshold).
You will get AAdvantage® miles through Flight CentsTM based on the amount rounded up at the end of your statement period up to the maximum amount set.
